Assistant Water Safety Instructor







This is a Red Cross program and its purpose is to prepare candidates for the instructors course. It will provide exposure to an aquatic instructional setting while developing leadership opportunities. Candidates must be 15 years of age and Bronze Cross is recommended . $135.00 + GST. Bronze Star





Pre-Bronze Medallion - for youth 12 years of age. This will better prepare participants in decision making, problem solving and skills needed to successfully complete Bronze Medallion level. *Facility Recommended* 

Bronze Medallion






Bronze Medallion Crash Course. Learn how to respond in water safety situations. Develop endurance in a timed swim. Jr. Lifeguard or Bronze Star is recommended. Manual and exam fee included. Fee: $130.00 + GST. Please register your interest. (613) 584-2000 ext 103.

Bronze Cross











Bronze Cross Crash course-Emphasis is placed on the candidate's ability to respond to a variety of aquatic emergencies using principles of teamwork & emergency procedures. An introduction to emergency first aid in a water setting. Candidates must be 14 years of age & have completed Bronze Medallion. Candidates will be trained in Emergency First Aid and receive a recognized certificate. $113.00 + GST. Exam fees included. Please call to register your interest (613) 584-2000 ext 103.

Adult Class - Bronze Medallion/Cross/
Resuscitation



Adults 17 & older who are interested in obtaining the lifesaving awards. Participants must complete the Bronze Medallion exam before attempting Bronze Cross. Register your interest.

Bronze Cross
Re-Certification


Every two years participants must re-certify this or the NLS award in order to remain current. Register your interest.

Red Cross & Lifesaving Society Instructor




This two weekend course will certify successful candidates with both the Red Cross and Lifesaving Society instructor awards. Prerequisites: 16 years of age, Aqualeader Award, current Bronze Cross or NLS. Please register your interest.

National Lifeguard Service





 
A 40 hour course comprised of lifeguarding skills and techniques, as well as an introduction to first aid in a water setting.  The Fee is $155.00 plus GST. Minimum of 16 years or older and Bronze Cross & Standard First Aid are required. Dates for next session will be posted when known.
